We started our week off by listening to the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. We listened to it a few times trying to fierce out how many pieces of fruit the caterpillar ate. We discovered that everyone kept count different ways. So,e peopled few pictures, some people used tally Akers and some even created a graph. We then figured out the best way to add up all the numbers! There was some great mah conversation.
We listened to this book about Ganesha. It is interesting to hear stories from around the world! Contact Ms. Kathleen if you want to read a story from your culture!
We began our deep inquiry into the word responsible by interviewing Mr. Campbell. It's not easy to record, listen, ask questions and video at the same time!
Here is our new game! We use ten chips and a cup to see all the different ways we can make ten!
We finally got our book boxes. We had time to decorate them to make them our own!
We finally met a claps w have been tweeting with! They live in India at another international school, we learned they also have Legos.
Our 4th grade buddy class came back! It was great playing with them.
