Structures

Our 9th Grade friends came in to share with us the stories they wrote about US!  It was great seeing our names in print and a fun story where we are super heroes!

The balance helped us see how we can make two number sentences equal or the same.  It was a lot of hard work!  A teacher came in and talked to us about Touch Math.  Another student helped explain because she is an expert.

We brainstormed different 'How To' ideas.  Maybe you can write on at home this weekend!

A highlight of the week was creating structures for our small imaginary animals out of natural materials we found outside.  We found mud worked best for keeping everything together.

We try to make portraits once a month.  This time we began our portraits out of white glue and black paper.  The second step was to color it in with pastels.  It was fun being creative with the colors!
